This neckpiece is part of a body of work made in 2017 in response to historical themes and the life of a woman called Hilda Maning who was part of one of Hobart's leading colonial families.
The piece is made from ribbon, Japanese lacquer, sterling silver, photograph, shellac and netting.
It was exhibited at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (July to October) 2017 as part of a show called 'Inscription and Place'.
