Unlike the approach of a brand like – whose attention-to-detail is matched only by their commitment to recreating an icon – Kapital has put their own spin on things. In the end, what you get is something completely new...
The main giveaway that things aren't run-of-the-mill is the mention of 'reversible' in the title. Indeed, this finely ribbed corduroy has been fashioned into a jacket that can be worn in two ways. In the first configuration it's a standard cord jacket, wearing a single flap pocket and the expansion pleats that are hallmarks of the Levi's Type I style – there's even the buckled cinch across the back for waist adjustment. Once flipped inside-out, the corduroy's soft and fluffy brushed back. This gives the jacket a micro-fleece feel, with the fuzzy back of the corduroy now forming the outer layer.
